Business liason/strategy
Nicole Parson is the business liaison for City Streets Music. A Conceptual
Social Engineer, arts entrepreneur, and cultural visionary, dedicated to

transforming ideas into tangible impact across music, education, and
community development. Her work in socially responsible business design
earned international recognition, including a Design Exchange Social
Business Concept Award in Toronto, Canada, for creating music- and arts-
focused community models.

Driven by a passion for music and cultural education, Nicole relocated to New
York to immerse herself in the music industry. She collaborated with
luminaries including Branford Marsalis, Steve Coleman, and Dion Parson, and
in 2009 co-founded Mentoring Through the Arts of Music, a program
supporting talented Caribbean musicians, which became the nonprofit United
Jazz Foundation in 2012. By 2017, Nicole expanded her impact as Executive
Director of The Forum, a nonprofit presenting world-class performances in
classical music, theater, literature, film, and opera for the U.S. Virgin Islands
community.

Nicole’s work is defined by vision, precision, and collaboration, creating
programs and initiatives that connect artistic excellence, social responsibility,
and community empowerment. She continues to lead, innovate, and inspire,
building pathways for people and communities to realize their potential,
embrace creativity, and engage meaningfully with the arts and society at
large.
